Our Sewing courses offer flexible learning suitable for beginner to intermediate students. Classes are small, giving you plenty of support with your chosen project which could be dressmaking, a bag or home furnishing. In week one we offer free materials to make a pin cushion or small zipped bag to get you going. After this you will be expected to provide your own materials. Sweet Seams students get 10% discount on fabric in the shop. Over the five week period, you will expect to learn a range of techniques including:- – Seam finishes – Working with Commercial patterns – Taking accurate measurements – Button holes – Patch pockets – Inserting a zip If there is not a class available at a time that suits you, please email us and we can put you on a waiting list.
