Here at Sweet Seams, we are all about promoting ‘Slow Fashion’. Making your own clothes is not only good for your health and wellbeing, it is also good for the planet. We are continuing to make an effort to reduce plastic, both in our packaging and in the fabrics themselves. We welcome everyone and are particularly focussed on getting more young people to take up sewing, a skill for life. Many of our sewing students describe our lovely little shop as their happy place, it is certainly mine.
