Bookings Cancellations and Refunds
Classes must be booked and paid for before attending. We accept PayPal, payment by Credit or Debit Card, Cash or Bank Transfer. Cheques are not accepted. When booking, please bear in mind that your class is only confirmed when paid for in full.
We recognise that occasionally you may need to cancel a booking.
A full refund (less a 5% admin charge) will be offered if cancelling 30 days or more in advance.
A refund will not be issued after this date unless your place can be re sold. Every effort will be made to book another customer.
If there are insufficient numbers to run the class or Sweet Seams has to cancel the class for any reason, you will be informed and a full refund will be given. You may be offered an alternative class.
Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions
Gift vouchers will be posted to you or the person you have bought the gift for when payment has been made.
Your voucher will expire 12 months from the date of issue.
You can redeem your voucher by emailing or telephoning to choose the course and date.
Our standard terms and conditions (above) also apply to bookings made using a gift voucher. In the case of a full refund the voucher would be reinstated.
If we have to cancel a class you will be issued with a replacement voucher instead of a refund.
Before starting a course you will be instructed in safe sewing. Parents or Guardians will be asked to sign a consent form for under 18’s to attend and an emergency telephone number is required.
Adults will be asked to sign that they agree to abide by the rules of safe sewing. Sweet Seams is fully Insured and the tutor has a current DBS check. Both of these certificates may be seen on request.
Sweet Seams is responsible for making sure that the machines are in good condition and are electronically tested for safety annually, however people attend classes at their own risk.
Class sizes are small to ensure adequate supervision is offered at all times.
