Upcycle/ Alterations: Tuesday 16/08/2022 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Upcycle, Make Do and Mend and Reuse are the key words of the year and a great way to do your bit for the Planet. Bring along clothes that you would like help to alter or to make into something new.
Our Sewing courses offer flexible learning suitable for beginner to intermediate students. Classes are small giving you plenty of support with your chosen project.
If you want to learn how to alter clothes or create a new outfit from clothes you no longer wear, this is the class for you!
So if you would like to know how to take in a waistband, hem trousers or create a new outfit from clothes you no longer wear this is the class for you.
Please bring along a selection of things. These may include clothing, fabric or trimmings. You may want to purchase items from the haberdashery section such as zips, trim or elastic.
All machines, desks, chairs etc., will be cleaned before each class. Everyone will be required to bring their own work box with scissors, pins, thread etc., or will need to buy these items in the shop
Students receive a 10% discount on fabrics on the day
